I was introduced to quilting by my mother and a little hobby has turned into a full blown obsession. After a fruitless job search and many rejections saying that I was both over-qualified and under-qualified at the same time, I have been offered a job at my local quilt shop, running a Gammill long-arm quilting machine.
I love gifting quilts to friends and family around me and the few that I have sold have gone to loving homes around the world. I hope you enjoy following my progress as I learn more about the history of quilting in the North of England and pick up skills and techniques along the way.
